A 180 degree turn for the Finnish refiner, which in ten years has established itself as the world's leading producer of renewable diesel. In 2011, the oil company Neste Oil was singled out by the NGO Public Eye, which awarded it the award for the worst company in social and environmental terms. Ten years later, the company, which removed the word “oil” from its logo, ranks 4th among the most “sustainable” companies according to the financial magazine Corporate Knights.
