This situation was caused by the 45.3% increase in commissions which made it possible to attenuate the effects of the drop in the banking margin on the net banking income. The resources collected by the bank increased by 8.8% during the period under review to 412.649 billion FCFA against 368.945 in the first half of 2018. For their part, loans granted to customers increased by 6.6%, from from 273.823 billion FCFA in 2018 to 321.699 billion FCFA a year later. At the level of general expenses, there is an increase of 15.7% with an achievement of 9.413 billion FCFA against 8.138 billion FCFA in 2018. For its part, the gross operating result improved by 1.2%. to 7.784 billion FCFA against 7.589 billion FCFA in 2018. The net cost of risk also improved by 19.5%, from 813 million FCFA in the first half of 2018 to 655 million FCFA a year later. For its part, the pre-tax result increased by 3.8% to 7.034 billion FCFA against 6.773 billion FCFA
