After Ouagadougou, it is the turn of the capital of the Center-West region to host the activities of the Microfinance Company for Savings and Credit in Burkina (FINEC-Burkina SA). The Koudougou branch was inaugurated on Thursday May 27, 2021.

Placed under the chairmanship of the Governor of the Center-West region, the respective sponsorship and co-sponsorship of the Director General of FONAFI and the CEO of the Laafi La Bumbu Establishment, the city of Koudougou hosted the official opening of the new agency FINEC-Burkina SA. According to the director general of the institution, Soungalo Seydou Yaméogo, the agency inaugurated in Koudougou is the third agency interconnected by the most secure means of the network, after the two agencies in Ouagadougou.
FINEC-Burkina SA officially launched its activities on June 20, 2019 in Ouagadougou and operates legally throughout the national territory under an authorization issued by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Development. It is a microfinance institution, incorporated as a public limited company under Burkinabè law. With an initial capital of around 200 million CFA francs, it ranks eighth among microfinance institutions in the form of a public limited company (SA).
