The Central African Banking Commission (COBAC) has authorized BANGE Bank to open a subsidiary in Cameroon. The inauguration is scheduled for August 2021. COBAC has given its agreement for the creation of the subsidiary BANGE Bank Cameroon (BBC). This authorization suggests that BANGE has complied with the conditions laid down in this regard, in particular the release of the entire share capital to 10 billion FCFA (19 million dollars) where in addition to the Equatoguinean government which controls the majority of the capital of the BBC, we also note the acquisition of stakes by private Cameroonians.

In addition, the layout of the offices and the configuration of the computer systems in progress presage the effective start of the activities on the date indicated above. For its managers, the extension of the network reflects BANGE's desire to increase its position in the sub-region by conquering the most dynamic markets.
