As part of the annual meeting to nominate the winner of the Grand Builder Super Prize, Babacar NDIAYE Trophy, the members of the Selection Committee of The Africa Road Builders, met on May 5, 2021 by videoconference.

At the end of the deliberations, the Selection Committee appointed SEM. Muhammadu BUHARI, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Winner of the Grand Builder Super Prize — Babacar NDIAYE Trophy 2021. For his personal leadership and for the efforts made to guarantee road safety and the health of populations in the context of transport

The Selection Committee notes with satisfaction that despite the health crisis, Nigeria has continued major road and transport works, particularly in rail transport. It also invites all African States to increase the level of their efforts in the area of road safety and more generally in the area of health related to roads and transport.
