At the helm of the bank since 2012, Daouda Coulibaly has been promoted to a new position of responsibility within the Moroccan group Attijari Wafa Bank, of which Sib is the Ivorian subsidiary. Meeting on May 10, 2021, the Board of Directors of SIB took act of the resignation of Daouda Coulibaly from the post of general manager, following his promotion at the level of the Attijariwafa bank group (Awb). After “warmly congratulating and thanking Mr. Daouda Coulibaly”, the Board of Directors then appointed Mohamed El Ghazi to the post of Managing Director.
According to the press release issued for this purpose, "Mr. Mohamed El Ghazi, holder of a Higher Education Diploma (DES) from the University of Hassan II in Casablanca and an MBA from Sherbrooke Canada, has a solid banking experience of more than 30 years within the Attijariwafa bank Group, actively participating in its international development for more than 15 years. His last function was that of Managing Director of the International Bank for Mali (Bim SA)”.
In addition, the Board informed that "Mr. Coulibaly brilliantly led, for almost a decade, the transformation of the bank, carrying out essential reforms which today make Sib a leader in Côte d'Ivoire. in its field of activity and one of the most important subsidiaries of the Awb Group". Thus, the SIB, listed on the Regional Stock Exchange (Brvm) since 2016, has achieved remarkable performance, recognized nationally and internationally.
