Visiting the Autonomous Port of Dakar this Sunday, April 24, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy Alioune Ndoye went to inquire about the conditions for landing fish products.

"I came unexpectedly to see the conditions of disembarkation and the conformity of the declarations", declared the minister, at the end of this visit which is a start. He was accompanied by the Director of Fisheries Processing Industries, the Director of Fisheries Protection and Surveillance and the Secretary General of his ministry as well as members of his cabinet. Remember that in Senegal, fishing occupies an important place in the national economy and is one of the country's main sources of foreign currency.
