The cotton subsidiary of the Olam group, SECO, has just announced the appointment of Jean-François Touré as CEO of the company.

The company, which specializes in sourcing and ginning cotton in Côte d'Ivoire, will now be managed by Jean-François Touré. Jean-François joined the Olam group in 1998 when the company's cocoa sector was created in Côte d'Ivoire. He has held various positions in the cocoa industry and was the representative of Olam within the Professional Group of Coffee and Cocoa Exporters of Côte d'Ivoire (GEPEX), and a member of the board of directors of various organizations related to cocoa.
