The Hong Kong-based Frontier Services Group (FSG) is setting its sights on West Africa. At a meeting in early January, the technical and commercial experts of this company founded by the American private security magnate Erik Prince identified logistics corridors in western Africa as one of the development axes for the coming months

Until now mainly present in Africa for its activities in Kenya, Mozambique, DRC, Tanzania and South Africa (Africa Intelligence dated 07/09/20), FSG is considering strengthening in the western part of the continent. Several routes are being planned or repaired, both to reach Atlantic ports, especially in Angola, where FSG surveyed in the past (Africa Intelligence of 24/07/19) -, such as those in the Gulf of Guinea.
FSG is already active in Nigeria, where the company has provided services for oil sector players and claims to have been selected to secure the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline
