Côte d'Ivoire's 2020/21 cotton campaign promises good performance. It should be slightly higher than the previous season, reaching just over 500,000 tonnes.
“With covid-19, there will certainly be problems with the flow, with the loading of cotton to fulfill orders”, underlined Laurent Fihox, director of communication for the interprofessional.
Recall that in 2020, Côte d'Ivoire exported 321,934 tons of cotton, or 18.4% less than in 2019.
