The Société de Limonaderies et de Brasseries d'Afrique (Solibra) bought all the shares of the Ivorian Packaging and Distribution Company (Sicodis). Both subsidiaries of the French industrial group Castel, these companies concluded the transaction on December 18, 2020, according to a statement dated December 29

Sicodis, which specializes in the preservation of tuna and the distribution of beverages, packaging and packaging, is thus merging into Solibra with its 38,686 shares sold.

For its part, the brewery had forecast a boom in activities in the second half of 2020, as in 2019, which saw an upturn. The first half of the year was marked by the effects of Covid-19.

Slightly impacted by the effects of the pandemic, Solibra experienced a decrease of 1.011 billion FCFA in profit, which fell from 8.782 billion FCFA at 30 June 2019 to 7.771 billion FCFA at 30 June 2020.
