The Diamniadio Industrial Park is gaining in technology: SEWACARD INDUSTRIE obtained, on August 31, 2020, the GIM-UEMOA Certification which gives it the possibility of producing bank cards for the eight (8) UEMOA countries.

SEWACARD INDUSTRIE has just successfully passed the GIM-UEMOA Certification for the production and personalization of EMV CPA Bank Cards valid throughout the interbank electronic banking network of the 120 banks and financial institutions of UEMOA (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire , Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo).

It is the culmination of 2 years (2018 - 2020) of intense technical work and Quality procedures validated by the sub-regional institution that is the UEMOA Interbank Electronic Banking Group, electronic banking regulator of the Central Bank of States. of West Africa (BCEAO).

From its Diamniadio industrial platform, the SEWACARD INDUSTRIE factory offers Africa the local solution for delivery of bank cards within 72 hours thanks to its high capacity of 1 million cards per month, thus putting an end to long waiting times for customers at banks who take 3 to 4 weeks to receive their orders. Since its installation in 2018, the factory has developed technological infrastructures with ultra-modern payment machines and world-class electronic security equipment.

In terms of human resources, SEWACARD INDUSTRIE has methodically developed national expertise by forging a very strong Strategic Partnership with the world leader Entrust Datacard and the Senegal/Japan Training Center which has been able to provide it with around a hundred qualified engineers with great mastery of electronic and computer technologies.

Thus, several young Senegalese were able to find a job within this innovative company which was dedicated to the last G20 Summit in Berlin, Germany, in the presence of the President of the Republic HE. Macky SALL.

The main thing is to believe in ourselves. Very soon, we will put on the market the first Android Contact/Contactless and solar TPE, fully assembled and configured in Senegal. Our electronic payment terminal has already passed all the certification tests of GIM, VISA and MASTERCARD. At the administrative level, we can produce Biometric Identity Cards and all other forms of security documents”.
