In a few years, modules on the prevention and fight against corruption will be introduced into training programs from pre-school to higher education, including technical education and vocational training, as well as schools for civil servants and state officials.

This initiative of the High Authority for Good Governance aims to instil in learners ethical behavior in line with responsibility, integrity, probity, citizenship and respect for the public good. And above all, to develop in these men and women intellectual skills that reject corruption and allow them to integrate the socio-professional world with moral values

Experts are hard at work developing lessons, chapters, objectives, learning techniques, materials and teaching aids, the trainer's and learner's guide. After editing the educational and didactic materials adopted with a view to carrying out this operation.

An operation started since 2015, in accordance with the commitments made by Côte d'Ivoire through the signing of the United Nations Convention against Corruption. This convention stipulates in its article 13.2.c that States must undertake education programs on corruption in schools and universities.

The Ivorian authorities are determined to fight against this social gangrene and its harmful consequences, through prevention and awareness-raising. Anything that could improve the image of the country, which rose from 136th in 2012 to 106th in 2019, in the world ranking of the most corrupt countries according to the NGO Transparency International.
