CFAO Motors Côte d'Ivoire, which specializes in the distribution of motor vehicles, will finally pay its shareholders on August 25, 2020, for the 2019 financial year, an overall net dividend of 196.303 million FCFA (294,455 euros) instead of and place of the 5.254 billion FCFA (7.881 million euros) announced by the board of directors in its project for the allocation of the result of the period under review, announced the managers of this company based in Abidjan.

This corresponds to a net dividend per share of 26.073 FCFA against 31.50 FCFA in 2018, i.e. a decrease of 5.427 FCFA. The net dividend that will be paid represents 52.14% of the nominal value of the company's share, which is 50 FCFA.

CFAO Côte d'Ivoire had a difficult 2019 financial year marked in particular by sluggish management indicators. The company's profit after tax had thus fallen by 19.01% to 5.255 billion FCFA against 6.489 billion FCFA at the end of the 2018 financial year.

The company's turnover, however, had increased by 5.419 billion FCFA, from 97.870 billion FCFA in 2018 to 103.289 billion FCFA a year later.

As for the added value, it experienced a shift of 6.55% to 14.124 billion FCFA during the period under review while it stood at 15.115 billion FCFA in 2018.

The same downward trend had characterized the gross operating surplus which stood at 8.544 billion FCFA against 9.503 billion FCFA in 2018 (-10.09%). The same is true of the operating result which fell from 8.327 billion FCFA on December 31, 2018 to 7.482 billion FCFA a year later (- 10.14%).
