Changsha, China — Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Zoomlion) will participate in the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (“the Expo”) which will be held from June 27 to 29 in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. The group will showcase nine agricultural and construction machinery products.

This three-day exhibition will focus on trade, agriculture, manufacturing, services, finance and infrastructure. Participants include representatives from 53 African countries, international organizations and 31 Chinese provinces and cities.

Zoomlion has developed a series of state-of-the-art "Made for Africa" agricultural machinery and construction equipment that are able to withstand the hot and humid climate of the African continent, while offering functionality, durability and unparalleled profitability.

Zoomlion's exhibition space will span 500 square meters. Agricultural machinery showcased by Zoomlion will include wheat, rice and sugar cane harvesters as well as tractors. As for construction machinery, there will be a cement mixer, an excavator, truck cranes and an industrial vehicle.

Since entering the African market in 2007, Zoomlion has established an extensive network including strong support and spare parts services to support a product line that spans more than 10 African countries. Having sold more than 4,000 machines in Africa, the group is now the largest Chinese manufacturer of construction machinery. It is ranked among the top three manufacturers on the continent.

In 12 years, Zoomlion has made a significant contribution to urban development and economic growth in Africa by participating in major infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the East-West highway and the Algiers airport terminal, the construction of venues that hosted the World Cup in South Africa, the standard gauge railway line between Mombasa and Nairobi in Kenya as well as oil projects in Mombasa.
