Placed under the authority of the Minister of Economy and Finance, the main mission of the Committee is to examine all the sectoral and specific issues of the crisis with a view to proposing measures to the Government according to the state of progress and the control of the pandemic.
It will hold its first meeting on Friday at the Plateau in the presence of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Adama Coulibaly.
During this meeting, the Joint Committee will identify the concerns of the Private Sector directly related to the pandemic, will analyze the impact of the health crisis on the productive fabric, in particular on income and employment, will analyze the recommendations of the Private Sector depending on the evolution of the situation with a view to proposing additional measures to the Government.
Furthermore, the role of the Committee is also to monitor the implementation of the measures adopted by the Government, to identify the difficulties related to the implementation of the measures and to propose corrective measures.
Finally, he must ensure the proper coordination of government action in the context of supporting the Private Sector during this period of crisis.
Weekly meetings with all participants may be held by videoconference or face-to-face (depending on the nature of the concerns) and during these meetings, the main procedures related to the management of this period of crisis.
