In the ranking of management and intermediation companies (SGI) according to the percentage value of transactions in 2019 on the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), SGI Togo comes in 12th position with a rate of 1.33%.

It is ahead of SGI Benin (1.27%) and SGI Niger (0.28%), but comes well behind CGF Bourse (18.58%) and Hudson & Cie (15.28%), the two companies that dominate the financial intermediation market in the WAEMU zone. Attijari SWA comes third with 10.39% of transactions in market value in 2019.

Created on December 4, 1996, the Management and Intermediation Company of Togo (SGI-TOGO) started its activities in 1998 according to its official website. The limited company has a share capital of 1.68 billion CFA francs and is approved by the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF) of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) under the No. 0143 on December 15, 1997. Its shareholders are made up of banks, insurance and reinsurance companies, financial establishments as well as various private economic operators in Togo.

As a reminder, SGI Togo's mission is to mediate between financing capacities and financing needs with a view to economic development and the increase in the wealth of company shareholders, that of private and institutional investors as well as all other stakeholders. It is co-lead manager on the bond issue by public call for savings called "State of Mali 6.50% 2020 - 2028", which relates to a total amount of 100 billion FCFA at an interest rate of 6.50% per year and over a period of 8 years including 3 years of deferral for the repayment of the capital.
