The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) received at its headquarters the actors of its market to present them the BRVM Awards which distinguish the actors of the Regional Financial Market of the Economic and Monetary Union of West Africa (UEMOA ) the most deserving.
More than a simple award ceremony, the BRVM Awards intend to strengthen the credibility of the institution and embody excellence in the stock market sector, the dynamism of its players and the attractiveness of the BRVM.
The event aims to bring together all the players of the Regional Financial Market, to highlight the stock market dynamism of our Union, to promote excellence and good practices in the sub-region and to contribute to the influence of our stock Exchange.
The BRVM Awards ceremony is aimed at companies listed on the BRVM, bond issuers, management and intermediation companies (SGI), as well as UCITS management companies (SGO).
The nominees will be selected by an independent jury on the basis of qualitative and quantitative criteria in seven distinct categories: Best Listed Company, Best Bond Issuer, Best SGI, Best SGO, Best Institutional Investor, Best Small and Medium Enterprises emanate from the Elite BRVM Lounge program without forgetting the classic Grand Jury Prize which will reward a legal or natural person who has made a significant contribution to the financial market and its development.
The Managing Director of the BRVM, Dr Edoh Kossi AMENOUNVE, indicated during his speech that "the BRVM Awards are the realization of a desire to highlight values such as excellence and good practices on the market, values very important guarantee of credibility and trust".

The prizes are awarded during a gala dinner, the first edition of which will be held on February 8, 2020 at the Abidjan Sofitel Ivoire Hotel.
