It's official, the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (Crepmf) is now
called the West African Monetary Union Financial Markets Authority (Amf-Umoa).
The information was given yesterday, Thursday, in Dakar by its president Mamadou Ndiaye, on the occasion of the
launch of work to review the basic texts of the regional financial market of the monetary union
West African, held for this purpose. “I would like to bring to your attention the change of name of the
Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (Crepmf) in the Markets Authority
financial institutions of the West African Monetary Union (Umoa). I specify that this decision was adopted and
approved by the Conference of Heads of State and Government,” he said.
