The State of Côte d'Ivoire collected the sum of CFAF 76.999 billion at the end of a simultaneous auction of 91-day Treasury bills (BAT) and 5- and 7-year Treasury bonds (OAT). The operation was carried out on 19 April 2022 on the WAEMU financial market.

The Ivorian government had put CFAF 70 billion up for auction in order to finance its budget. The total amount of the bids was CFAF 151.356 billion. This gives a coverage rate of 216.22% of the amount auctioned. Successful bids amounted to 76.999 billion CFA francs and those rejected to 74.357 billion CFA francs. This gives an absorption rate of 50.87%.

The issued bonds are redeemable on the first working day following the maturity date fixed at July 19, 2022. The interests are payable in advance and are deducted from the face value of the bonds. The OATs will also be redeemed on the first business day following the maturity date of April 20, 2027 for the 5-year OATs and on April 20, 2029 for the 7-year OATs.
