The workshop for the dissemination of Niger's economic memorandum was organized on March 28 under the chairmanship of the Minister of Planning, Dr. Rabiou Abdou. On the occasion, avenues for reflection and reform options for inclusive, resilient and sustainable growth were proposed.

The study carried out by the World Bank offers an in-depth analysis of the performance of the Nigerien economy over the past 20 years and identifies the main challenges the country will face in the years to come as well as possible ways to overcome them. . Niger's Economic Memorandum aims to provide political decision-makers with food for thought and reform options to resolutely embark on the path of inclusive, resilient and sustainable economic growth. These are non-exhaustively reforms contributing to the transparent and efficient management of future oil resources, institutional changes to accelerate the adoption of new technologies to support agricultural productivity and access to inclusive finance or even measures to optimize climate risk prevention mechanisms.
