The trading session of this Tuesday, March 22, 2022 of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) revealed a sharp rise in the BRVM 10 index and a slight rise in the BRVM composite index.

The BRVM 10 index (index of the stock market's 10 flagship stocks) rose sharply by 1.55% to 164.40 points against 161.89 points previously. The BRVM composite index rose by 0.86% to 216.91 points against 215.06 points the day before. As for the value of transactions, it is also on the rise, standing at 6.403 billion FCFA against 5.231 billion FCFA the day before.

The market capitalization of the equity market which recorded an increase of 55.614 billion, amounting to 6529.483 billion FCFA against 6473.869 billion FCFA the day before. On the other hand, that of the bond market fell by 5.131 billion FCFA from 7491.823 billion FCFA the day before to 7486.692 billion FCFA on March 22, 2022.
