Bidra, a new fund specializing in the identification, support and promotion of bold and innovative solutions in the field of agriculture around the world has just been launched with the support of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and the OCP Group . Its objective is to sustainably feed a growing world population.

Based in San Francisco, in the United States, Bidra will be endowed with 50 million dollars to be invested over a period of 5 years. It is intended to be an autonomous fund operating independently. The fund should be operational from April 1, 2022. Its main ambition, to have a tangible impact on agriculture by focusing on solutions developed by farmers. To do so, it will cover areas such as agricultural inputs, digital agricultural services and agricultural marketplaces.
