Patience Oniha, Managing Director of the Debt Management Office (DMO) announced that Nigeria has issued a USD 1.25 billion Eurobond with a maturity of 7 years in the International Capital Market (ICM). These resources should enable Africa's leading economy to finance its budget and make up for its infrastructure deficits. The offering was launched at an initial price of 8.75% pa and thanks to strong investor demand, Nigeria was able to reverse price direction at 8.5%
