the African Development Bank (AfDB) makes a donation of 237 million FCFA to Togo as part of the project to digitize public offering operations (APE) on the primary market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) ).

The digitization project aims to set up an automated solution to “manage the operational processes of the APE subscription phase”. According to the AfDB, it should facilitate access to EPA information and data for regional financial market players and “provide them with reliable information in real time”.

According to the Director General for the AfDB region, Marie-Laure Akinolugbadé, the digitization of APE operations on the regional financial market of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), will require funding estimated at more than 300 million FCFA, with a contribution from the AfDB in the form of a grant agreement of approximately FCFA 200 million.
