The Bissau-Guinean State requested and obtained at the level of the WAEMU financial market on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 the sum of 10.400 billion FCFA following an issue of assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) with a duration of 182 days organized by UMOA-Titres.

The amount put up for auction is 10 billion FCFA and that of the overall bids is 15.900 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of the amount auctioned of 159.00%. The amount of bids accepted is 10.400 billion FCFA and that rejected is 5.500 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 65.41%. Investors whose bids are successful will end up with a return of 2.81%. The BAT issued are repayable on the first working day following the due date set at September 6, 2022. This financing will be used to cover the financing needs of Guinea-Bissau's budget.
