The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) market begins March 2022 with a drop in its flagship indices. At the end of the trading session of this Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the value of transactions plunged to 507.244 million FCFA.

While the value of transactions went from 1.637 billion FCFA the day before to 507.244 million FCFA, the composite BRVM index lost 0.38% (after an increase of + 1.15% the day before) to 218.79 points against 219.62 points previously. As for the BRVM 10 index, it also lost 0.77% (after an increase of +1.45% the day before) to 169.68 points against 170.99 points previously.

The market capitalization of the equity market recorded a drop of 24.992 billion FCFA to 6586.083 billion FCFA against 6611.075 billion FCFA the day before. On the other hand, that of the bond market is up by 9.894 billion FCFA to 7527.238 billion FCFA against 7517.344 billion FCFA the day before.
