Actors in the terrorist financing risk sector in Niger have been in training since Tuesday on the use of the national assessment tool. This activity is organized by the National Financial Information Processing Unit (CENTIF-Niger) with funding from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the World Bank.

The training session on the use of the national terrorist financing risk assessment tool (ENR-FT) has the general objective of training the members of the working group set up by the Minister of Finance on August 9 2021 to finalize the national assessment following the methodology developed by the World Bank and translated into French by the UNODC consultant. As a reminder, Niger has, within the framework of the implementation of the Regional Strategy for the Fight against the Financing of Terrorism of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), undertaken an evaluation study national level of terrorist financing risks.
