Last Friday, the key indicators of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) experienced mixed fortunes at the end of the trading session, with transactions falling sharply.

The market capitalization of the equity market increased from 7.799 billion FCFA to 6395.762 billion FCFA against 6387.963 billion FCFA on February 17. On the other hand, that of the bond market fell by 10.238 billion to 7500.454 billion FCFA against 7510.692 billion FCFA previously. The BRVM composite index rose by 0.12% after +1.40% the previous day to 212.47 points against 212.21 points previously. As for the BRVM 10 index, it also recorded an increase of 0.17% after 0.86% the day before to 158.96 points against 158.69 points previously. The total value of transactions, however, is down, standing at 457.153 million FCFA against 615.476 million FCFA the day before.
