On February 8, 2022 on the WAEMU financial market, Côte d'Ivoire recorded a significant coverage rate of more than 239%. The amount received is 60.050 billion FCFA.

The issue by auction of 182-day and 364-day equivalent treasury bills (BAT) recorded more than 239% coverage rate. According to the report drawn up by UMOA-Titres, while the issuer only solicited 60 billion FCFA, it received as bids a total amount of 143.443 billion FCFA. The amount of bids retained by the Ivorian Public Treasury amounted to 60.050 billion FCFA while that rejected was 83.393 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 41.86%. Investors whose bids have been accepted by the Ivorian Public Treasury will end up with a weighted average return of 2.45% for BAT of 182 days and 2.71% for BAT of 364 days.
