At the end of the trading session on Friday, February 4, 2022, the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded a sharp increase in transactions with more than one billion FCFA.

Transactions recorded at the level of the BRVM experienced a sharp rise at the end of last Friday's trading session. The total value of these transactions was indeed established at 1.223 billion FCFA against 785.885 million FCFA the day before. Between February 2 and February 4, 2022, these transactions increased by 807.219 million FCFA. The market capitalization of the equity market fell by 20.94 billion FCFA to 6113.228 billion FCFA against 6134.168 billion FCFA the day before. That of the bond market is, on the other hand, up by 2 billion to 7271.218 billion FCFA against 7269.218 billion FCFA previously. The BRVM 10 index thus recorded a drop of 0.38% to 153.85 points against 154.44 points the day before. For its part, the composite index fell by 0.34% to 203.08 points against 203.78 points previously.
