At the end of the annual review of the reforms and programs of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Lomé, it appears that Togo maintains its performance of 78%.

The WAEMU Commission examined with the Togolese Government the various results of the evaluation of the effective implementation of community reforms, programs and projects. The objective of the annual review is to speed up the pace of WAEMU reforms, policies, programs and projects for deepening regional integration in all areas. It appears that over the past three years, Togo has distinguished itself as one of the WAEMU countries that has recorded encouraging results, with an average rate of implementation of community reforms rising from 64% in 2018 to 78.2% in 2021, i.e. an average annual increase of 7%. At the same time, the program implementation rate increased from 57% to 89.3%.
