In a press release published this week, Senegalese customs announced that they had boarded a freighter flying the flag of Guyana with three containers filled with munitions of war worth an estimated 4.5 million euros.

Lieutenant-Colonel Ibrahima Camara, head of the maritime subdivision of Senegalese customs, indicates in a video that the tracing device did not identify the route of the containers. The ship, described by specialized sites as an 80 m long freighter, was stopping in Dakar to refuel according to its captain and the building agent, reported Lieutenant-Colonel Camara. According to him, three types of ammunition were found in the ship. The crew members, all Ukrainians are being interrogated.
