The financier of Morocco, Nadia Fettah Alaoui affirms this Monday, January 10, 2022, in Parliament that the Kingdom is studying the advisability of developing a legal framework.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance and Bank Al-Maghrib, in partnership with international partners, are studying the opportunity to establish a legal framework that would govern the use of cryptocurrencies. During the oral question session in the House of Representatives, a member of the USFP (opposition) pointed out that cryptocurrencies have become an undeniable reality in our country, and that several governments in the world, in Europe, in Asia and in America, have authorized them. In her response, Nadia Fettah Alaoui stated that "the Ministry of Finance and Bank Al-Maghrib, in partnership with international partners, are studying the opportunity to establish a legal framework that governs the use of cryptocurrencies, based on what is done in foreign countries”.
