At the end of the trading session of this Tuesday, January 4, 2022, the two indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) continue with the contrasting situation noted on Monday, January 3, 2022.

The BRVM 10 index (index of 10 key stocks) recorded a slight increase of 0.03% to 153.89 points against 153.85 points the day before, the situation is different for the composite index (general stock market index) which lost 0.37% to 201.33 points against 202.08 points previously. As for the total value of transactions, it recovered, standing at 446.622 million FCFA against 155.992 million FCFA the day before. The market capitalization of the equity market is also down by 22.425 billion FCFA, from 6079.332 billion FCFA the day before to 6056.907 billion FCFA this Tuesday, January 4, 2022. That of the bond market is also down from 7.934 billion, to 7234.949 billion FCFA against 7242.883 billion FCFA the day before.

The TOP 5 of the strongest price increases are respectively occupied by the shares SMB Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.38% to 6,980 FCFA), CFAO Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.24% to 1,185 FCFA), ETI Togo (plus 5.26% at 20 FCFA), Coris Bank International Burkina Faso (plus 2.00% at 10,710 FCFA) and Sitab Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.98% at 6,180 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the shares BICICI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.45% to 6,710 FCFA), Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.70% to 2,575 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (less 6.61% at 565 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (less 6.25% at 1,500 FCFA) and Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (less 6.25% at 900 FCFA).
