At the end of the trading session on Monday January 3, 2022, the main indicators of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded a decline.

The total value of transactions fell sharply, standing at 155.992 million FCFA against 676.914 million FCFA the day before. As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it is also down by 6.087 billion FCFA, to 6079.332 billion FCFA against 6085.419 billion FCFA previously. That of the bond market stood at 7242.883 billion FCFA against 7247.043 billion FCFA the day before, a decrease of 4.16 billion FCFA. The BRVM 10 index (index of 10 leading stocks) recorded an increase of 0.22% to 153.85 points against 153.51 points the day before. On the other hand, the composite index (general stock market index) lost 0.10% to 202.08 points against 202.28 points previously.

The TOP 5 of the highest price increases are respectively occupied by the securities SICOR Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.42% to 5,500 FCFA), Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.39% to 2,760 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.26% at 960 FCFA), SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.06% at 910 FCFA) and ETI Togo (plus 5.56% at 19 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the shares Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% to 144,300 FCFA), CFAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.14% to 1,105 FCFA), SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.80% to 6,500 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.76% to 1,600 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.39% to 3,810 FCFA.
