During October 2021, transactions on the public debt securities market resulted in a drop in the overall amount of issues and a decline in the level of interest rates, compared to the previous month. According to the document, in annual variation, the amount of public securities subscribed during the month of October 2021 decreased by 211.4 billion compared to its level of October 2020. This decline is attributable to the drop of 225.1 billion in bond issues, reduced by an increase of 13.7 billion in those of Treasury bills. The coverage rate of government securities issues stood at 270.8% on average in October 2021, compared to 302.2% in September 2021 and 253.8% a year earlier.
