The BRVM 10 index (index of 10 flagship stocks) of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded a vigorous increase of more than 1%, at the end of the session on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

This index has indeed produced 1.08% (against 0.03% the day before) to 151.30 points against 149.68 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Composite index (general stock market index) generated 0.73% to 199.14 points against 197.70 points previously. The total value of transactions stood at 14 billion FCFA against 15,167 billion FCFA the day before. As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it recorded an increase of 43,583 billion FCFA to 5,991,015 billion FCFA against 5,947,432 billion FCFA previously. The capitalization of the compulsory market fell from 214 million FCFA to 7233.974 billion FCFA against 7234.188 billion at the end of the session on Monday, December 27.

The TOP 5 of the strongest price increases are occupied respectively by the securities Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% to 5,105 FCFA), Crown SIEM Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.14% to 750 FCFA), SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.05% at 835 FCFA), Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (plus 6.67% at 16 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.00% at 5,300 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the securities SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.11% at 700 FCFA), BOA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.23% at 6,000 FCFA), Servair Abidjan (minus 2.70% to 1,800 FCFA), Coris Bank International Burkina Faso (minus 2.17% to 9,005 FCFA) and Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.82% to 1,080 FCFA).
