After presenting to the media, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, its 2021-2025 roadmap, the College of Commissioners of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) carried out the same exercise, Thursday, November 25, 2021 with the Partners Technical and Financial (PTFs) of the Union.

Focused on three (03) areas of intervention divided into twenty-three (23) key actions in line with the key provisions of the amended Treaty, the Framework of Priority Actions (CAP 2025) of the WAEMU Commission, term of office 2021 -2025, was presented to the Technical and Financial Partners (TFPs) of the Union. The President of the Commission, Abdoulaye Diop, indicated that "the implementation of CAP 2025 should have positive effects on the recovery of economies hard hit by the health crisis while contributing to the promotion of peace and stability of the countries of the Union”.

CAP 2025, he underlined at the press conference on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, reflects the ambitions and commitment of the College of Commissioners of UEMOA in terms of achievements and objectively measurable results by 2025. beyond the presentation of the Commission's objectives over the next four (04) years, the meeting with the TFPs allowed Abdoulaye Diop to take stock of the state of the Union, mentioning, among other things, the COVID pandemic -19, with its corollary of negative consequences on the economy and all sectors of activity.
