Maurice Kamto, Leader of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon denounces the massive embezzlement of public funds within the government and calls for the opening of an investigation.

In a statement published by cameroun24, Maurice Kamto asks the Attorney General at the Special Criminal Court to open an investigation, in particular on chapters 94 and 65 of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance. Thus, not having the legal means, the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC) asks the Government to very quickly clarify this situation which comes to consolidate in the opinion the image already very detestable of a kleptocratic power carried by a gang mafia. At the same time, the MRC requests the audit of the famous Chapter 94 of the Finance Law entitled "Investments in intervention", over the last twenty years at least. Concomitantly, he asks for an in-depth investigation from the Directorate of Programming and Public Investments, including the current director who, in addition to his atypical profile in relation to the technicality of his position, is presented by a certain opinion as "the richest civil servant "in billions of CFA francs.
