According to Xavier Durand, Chief Executive Officer of Coface, these appointments demonstrate the company's ability to develop talents with diversified career paths and to attract managers from outside with solid experience.

Coface SA has made appointments to strengthen its management team. Antonio Marchitelli, currently Head of Coface for the Western Europe region, is appointed Head of Specialty Product Lines from January 2022. In this newly created role, Antonio will be responsible for the development strategy of three lines of key specialized products: Single Risk, the surety business, and debt collection. He will be in charge of designing and deploying a global roadmap to accelerate the growth of these activities and strengthen Coface's operational efficiency to develop these product lines. Carine Pichon, currently Chief Financial and Risk Officer, will replace Antonio as Coface's Managing Director for the Western Europe region. Carine had been heading the finance and risk functions since 2011. Her appointment to this position is recognition of her long-standing contribution to the transformation of Coface and in particular to the Fit to Win and Build to Lead strategic plans as well as to the initial public offering of Coface.

Phalla Gervais will replace Carine as Chief Financial and Risk Officer. Phalla was previously CFO and Deputy CEO of Aviva France. She has a long experience in the field of the transformation of the finance function. His expertise, combined with solid managerial skills, will be solid assets for Coface and its financial department. Phalla will join Coface on September 6, 2021 and will be a member of the group's management committee. Over the next two months, Carine and Phalla will work together to ensure a smooth transition. Finally, after several months of interim, Coface is pleased to confirm Jaroslaw Jaworski as Managing Director of Coface for the Central and Eastern Europe Region, effective today. Jaroslaw was previously Country Manager for Poland since 2012. He made Coface a leading player in this important market. Antonio, Carine, Phalla and Jaroslaw report to Xavier Durand and will be part of the executive committee.
