The Casablanca Stock Exchange is one of the most dynamic places in the region in the 2nd quarter of 2021. It is one of the 14 Arab financial places that recorded good performance in the second quarter of the year.

With the performances, the Casablanca Stock Exchange is positioned in sixth place after the Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait stock exchanges. The Casablanca market is also ahead, in terms of performance, of the stock exchanges of Algeria, Tunisia, Dubai, Khartoum, Palestine, Qatar and Beirut. On the other hand, the Damascus and Egyptian stock exchanges underperformed compared to the same period of the previous year. This can be seen from the Arab Monetary Fund's quarterly publication on the performance of the Arab stock market. Similarly, the Masquât and Casablanca Stock Exchanges are also among the Arab financial centers that have recorded increases in their stock price indicators, along with the Saudi Arabian, Amman and Beirut Stock Exchanges. The Arab Monetary Fund notes in this sense respective increases of around 5.11, 5.51, 5.7, 7.93 and 11.66%. Overall, the performance indicators of the Arab stock markets have maintained their upward trajectory observed since the end of 2020. A dynamic that has instilled a tinge of optimism among investors. The good behavior observed in the first six months of the year also predicts an improvement in the profitability indicators of listed companies for the second half of the year. In terms of market capitalization of listed Arab companies, there is an improvement of 4.49% compared to the first quarter of the year, reaching a global capitalization of 3,555.6 billion US dollars.
