Data from the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) resumed the upturn at the end of the week. At the end of the trading session on Friday August 27, 2021, the market capitalization of the equity market recorded an increase of 19.153 billion FCFA.

After their contrasting situation the day before, the indices of the Regional Stock Exchange have resumed their upturn. The BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 flagship stocks of the Stock Exchange) recorded an increase of 0.28% to 138.11 points against 137.33 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Composite index (the general stock market index) rose by 0.37% to 175.41 points against 174.77 points the day before. The market capitalization of the equity market recorded an increase of 19.153 billion FCFA, rising from 5,259.738 billion FCFA the previous day to 5,278.891 billion FCFA at the end of the day on August 27. That of the bond market increased by 15.249 billion FCFA to 7099.157 billion FCFA against 7 083.908 billion FCFA the day before. The total value of transactions amounted to 1.688 billion FCFA against 3.005 billion FCFA the day before.

The Top 5 of the strongest price increases are respectively occupied by Palm Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.42% to 4,635 FCFA), Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.41% to 4,275 FCFA), Safca Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.27% at 590 FCFA), Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.22% at 2,005 FCFA) and BOA Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.67% at 4,800 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the shares NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.02% at 530 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.72% at 1,400 FCFA), Compagnie Ivorian Electricity (minus 5.30% to 1,965 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.21% to 1,820 FCFA) and BICICI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.33% to 5,800 FCFA).
