This meeting will boost actions for the recovery and revival of private companies.
The institutions of the IDB Group specialized in private sector development will organize the Private Sector Forum within the framework of the annual meetings of the Boards of Governors and the general assemblies of the members affiliated to the Group. According to a press release, the forum will be organized around the theme of “Respond, recovery and recovery: for a post-Covid-19 of resilience and prosperity for All”. The main objective of the forum is to highlight the activities of the IDB Group in the member countries, the services it offers, the initiatives it carries out and the solutions it provides both in the sector of investment than trade and insurance.
The forum aims to be an ideal platform to forge business relationships and partnerships with leading stakeholders. It allows to share experiences, successes and best practices and to explore the investment and trade opportunities offered by the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In addition, it makes it possible to connect the business community of the member countries by organizing parallel meetings between companies on the one hand and between companies and governments on the other hand. Also, the Forum, which should bring together more than 1,000 participants from all sectors, will discuss the efforts needed to overcome the difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Likewise, he will highlight the IDB Group's Strategic Preparedness and Response Program, its financial envelope ($2.3 billion) and its so-called "3Rs" approach (Respond, Recovery and Recovery).
