On Tuesday August 17, 2021, at the end of the trading session, the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded more than 1.700 billion FCFA in transactions. Investors have positioned themselves in particular on the State of Mali bond lines 6.50% 2021-2031 for 984.508 million FCFA and BIDC-EBID 6.50% 2021-2028 for 392.648 million FCFA.

                       

The total value traded amounted to 1.746 billion against 236.052 million FCFA the day before. On the amount transacted, the bond compartment ended up with 1.377 billion FCFA against 368.851 million for that of shares. The stock market capitalization stood at 5199.479 billion FCFA against 5149.330 billion FCFA the day before, an increase of 50.149 billion FCFA. That of the bond market, for its part, amounted to 6936.360 billion FCFA against 6932.715 billion FCFA the day before, an increase of 3.645 billion FCFA. The BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 flagship stocks of the Stock Exchange) recorded an increase of 1.28% to 138.43 points against 136.68 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Composite index (the general stock market index) rose by 0.98% to 172.77 points against 171.10 points the day before.

The Top 5 of the strongest price increases are occupied respectively by the shares Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Electricité (up 7.43% to 1,880 FCFA), BOA Niger (up 7.32% to 4,180 FCFA), Onatel Burkina Faso ( plus 6.53% to 3,995 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.41% to 415 FCFA) and Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.41% to 3,900 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.45% at 4,225 FCFA), SITAB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.01% at 3,450 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.99% at 1,325 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.68% at 725 FCFA) and Safca Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.46% at 595 FCFA).
