At the end of the week, the market capitalization of the shares of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded an increase of 29.791 billion FCFA. This capitalization stood at 5095.669 billion FCFA against 5065.878 billion FCFA the day before.

In the space of three consecutive trading days, this capitalization increased by 72.385 billion FCFA, more than enough to offset the cumulative losses of 37.663 billion FCFA recorded on August 2 and 3, 2021. The capitalization of the bond market increased raised to 6769.723 billion FCFA against 6772.387 billion FCFA the day before, a decrease of 2.664 billion FCFA. The total value of the transactions stood at 211.962 million FCFA against 382.329 million FCFA the day before. The BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 flagship stocks of the Stock Exchange) recorded an increase of 0.56% to 137.46 points against 136.69 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Composite index (the general stock market index) rose by 0.59% to 169.32 points against 168.33 points the day before.

The Top 5 of the strongest price increases are occupied respectively by the securities Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.47% to 4,965 FCFA), Crown Siem Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.22% to 520 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.85% at 1,950 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.45% at 330 FCFA) and CFAO Côte d'Ivoire (up 5.56% at 760 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the shares SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.14% at 650 FCFA), SODECI (minus 2.90% at 4,350 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire ( minus 2.10% at 700 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.59% at 1,550 FCFA) and Grand Béréby Rubber Company (minus 1.33% at 3,700 FCFA).
