The officials of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) announced that the first listing of the bond loan entitled "TPBF 6.50% 2021 - 2031", which had been launched in June 2021 by the State of Burkina Faso and admitted to the BRVM Bonds Compartment, will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

According to BRVM officials, the introduction procedure used for the first day of trading is the ordinary procedure with a reference price set at 10,000 FCFA. The first trading price will be determined by matching buy and sell orders. Indeed, the State of Burkina Faso, through the General Directorate of the Treasury and Public Accounting (DGTCP), had issued on the WAEMU regional financial market from June 24 to 28, 2021 inclusive a bond loan at the price of 10,000 FCFA per bond in order to mobilize resources for the financing of growth-enhancing projects included in its National Economic and Social Development Plan (PNDES). At the end of this operation, 16,500,000 "TPBF 6.50% 2021 - 2031" bonds had been subscribed, for a total amount of 165 billion FCFA. The date of enjoyment of these bonds was set at July 06, 2021. The listing of the securities is mainly intended to allow their trading on the regional financial market.
