Dr Edoh Kossi AMENOUNVE, has become a member of the Nasdaq Exchange Review Council for a term of three years until 2024. This is the information reached Afrik-une through a press release published this Wednesday, July 28, 2021 by the communication service of the financial institution based in Abidjan.

The Exchange Review Council is a permanent independent advisory committee responsible for ensuring the consistent and fair application of market rules related to member and member organization discipline for each of the Nasdaq exchanges.

The Managing Director of BRVM and DC/BR therefore becomes the only African member of the said Committee and probably the first African to join a Nasdaq body at this level since its creation in 1971.

He thus rose to the top of World Finance by joining one of the Specialized Committees of the Nasdaq stock exchanges (Nasdaq USA, Nasdaq Nordic and Nasdaq Baltic in Europe, Nasdaq Dubai), the first technological stock exchange and the second world stock exchange. Holder of a Doctorate in Finance, Dr Edoh Kossi AMENOUNVE is successively Managing Director of a Stock Exchange Company, President of an Asset Management Company, Secretary General of the CREPMF (Regulatory Authority), Managing Director of the Stock Exchange and Central Depository (BRVM and DC/BR), President of the ECOWAS Stock Exchanges Integration Council (WACMIC) and President of the Association of African Stock Exchanges (ASEA).
