After having obtained assurance on the solidity of the process of implementing the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAf), the Ivorian Employers plan to equip themselves to validly conquer the African continental market.

The ZLECAf offers a market of 1.2 billion consumers, supported, among other things, by a reduction in the cost of inputs, access to foreign direct investment, an acceleration of the industrialization of countries, the creation of jobs driven by the private sector in addition to the empowerment of youth and women. To this end, at the initiative of the Association for the Promotion of Exports from Côte d'Ivoire (Apex-ci), a workshop is being held Monday July 26 to Friday July 30, 2021 in Abidjan to equip small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ) for export with the ZLECAf. The president of the CGECI, Jean-Marie Ackah, promised the full participation of the Ivorian private sector for the success of the implementation of the ZLECAf agreement, convinced that it offers an opportunity for market development, for the private sector. The Ivorian Employers are now working to build the capacity of companies in order to better seize the opportunities of the ZLECAf.
