The market is back to strong transactions. At the end of the trading session on Wednesday June 23, 2021, the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded more than 4 billion FCFA in transactions.

            

The total value of transactions thus stood at 4.939 billion FCFA against 968.303 million FCFA the day before, an increase of 3.971 billion FCFA. The market capitalization of the equity market recorded a drop of 27.756 billion FCFA, from 4842.956 billion the day before to 4815.200 billion FCFA this Wednesday, June 23, 2021. As for that of the bond market, it stood at 6617.661 billion FCFA against 6612.429 billion FCFA the day before, an increase of 5.232 billion FCFA.

Both stock market indices closed the trading session down. The BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 flagship stocks of the Stock Exchange) thus lost 0.96% to 130.69 points against 131.96 points the day before. The BRVM Composite index (the general stock market index), for its part, lost 0.57% to 160.00 points against 160.92 points the day before.

The TOP 5 of the highest price increases are respectively occupied by Air Liquide Cote d'Ivoire (up 6.67% to 480 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.41% to 415 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.17% at 1,000 FCFA), Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.41% at 4,550 FCFA) and Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.14% at 1,315 FCFA).

Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the securities NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.45% at 5,200 FCFA), Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.78% at 1,750 FCFA), BOA Mali (minus 2.78% to 1,575 FCFA), SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.11% to 6,950 FCFA) and Sonatel Senegal (minus 1.99% to 13,575 FCFA).
